Team alerts in Slack and Discord
Get a message in Slack or Discord when a customer needs a person.
Slack and Discord alerts tell your team when a chat needs attention. They only send alerts. Customer conversations stay in Conversations, where you reply.
Set up Slack
- In Slack, create an incoming webhook for the channel you want alerts in, and copy its address. It starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/services/. - In Chatzora, open your assistant, choose Integrations, and click Slack team alerts.
- Paste the address into Slack Webhook URL.
- Under Alert Triggers, choose when to be alerted:
- Human handoff / fallback requested: a customer asked for a person, or the assistant couldn't answer
- Negative customer sentiment detected: a customer seems unhappy
- Click Save, then Send test alert and check that it arrives in Slack.
Set up Discord
- In your Discord server, open the channel settings, go to Integrations → Webhooks, create a webhook and copy its URL. It starts with
https://discord.com/api/webhooks/. - In Chatzora, open Integrations and click Discord team alerts.
- Paste the address into Discord Webhook URL, choose your Alert Triggers, click Save, then Send test alert.
Other ways to be notified
If you use the Chatzora mobile app with notifications turned on, you also get a notification when a chat is handed to you. See Reply to customers yourself.
