Replies that appear as they're written, better search and a clearer dashboard
Faster-feeling replies on the website and hosted chat, better matching of customer questions to your information, no more silent chats when something goes wrong, and many smaller improvements for owners and the mobile app.
Answers for your customers
- Replies appear as they're written. On your website chat, the hosted chat link and in apps using the mobile SDK, customers see the answer appear word by word instead of waiting for the whole reply.
- Better at finding the right answer. The assistant now matches questions both by meaning and by exact words, so specific terms like product names, order codes or "gluten-free" are found more reliably.
- Never goes silent. If the assistant can't reply because of a problem on our side, or because you've reached your monthly limit, it tells the customer a team member will follow up and passes the chat to your inbox. When the problem was on our side, that reply isn't counted against your allowance.
Setting up
- Install guides for your platform. Step-by-step instructions for WordPress, Wix, Shopify and Squarespace, plus a general guide for other sites.
- A chat link you can share. Every assistant has its own chat page you can link to from social media posts or emails, even if you have no website.
- Suggested test questions. The test chat now suggests questions drafted from your own information, so you can check answers before going live.
- Choosing a paid plan carries through sign-up. If you pick Pro or Agency on the pricing page, you go straight to checkout after creating your account.
Improving answers over time
- Your team's replies become answers. When someone on your team answered a customer by hand, the Review Queue now suggests that reply as the correct answer, so you can save it in one step.
- Weekly email ranks repeated questions. The weekly summary now lists the questions that went unanswered most often first, so you know where to start.
Dashboard
- Plain language throughout. Settings and messages now use everyday words instead of technical terms.
- A home page that shows what needs you. See chats waiting for a reply, questions that went unanswered this week and new leads, each with a link to deal with them.
- Satisfaction score. See how customers rated their conversations, based on the yes/no question at the end of the website chat.
- Easier on phones. The inbox works better on small screens, and the website chat is easier to read and use, including full screen on phones.
Android app
- Offline banner. The app shows when you've lost connection, so you know messages may be out of date.
- Recovers from errors. If a screen runs into a problem, it shows a way to retry instead of closing the app.
- Faster conversation lists. Threads load and update more smoothly, especially in busy inboxes.
